Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse
–
Alright, I wrapped up my initial Isagenix 9 day cleanse this morning, Monday, November 9th. As promised I am back to tell you my experience.
First of all, my Isagenix 9 day cleanse review starts the day before on October 27th. I was sure my supplies would be here but they weren’t even though UPS said it was already delivered. So I walked around to the neighbors and found my packages delivered to someone else. So I got my stuff and was ready to go for the next day. I am only bringing this up so that you might notice that October 28th, my start date, to November 9th is actually longer than 9 days. The first thing you will learn about the Isagenix 9 day cleanse is that it is really 11 days if it is your first time around. I’ll explain why in a second.
The Isagenix 9 day cleanse consists of 2 parts. Their are shake days and cleanse days. Cleanse days consist of a liquid diet 4 times a day of their core product “Cleanse For Life.” That plus lots of water and some vegetables as well as some nuts. The shake days consist of meal replacement shakes as another of their core products the “IsaLean Shake”, as well as a meal and frequent snacks. The frequent meals and snacks keep you from getting terribly hungry throughout the days.
Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse Nutrition
The premise is that your body will be getting all the nutrition it needs through the right meals and products. Therefore you will not be as hungry and your metabolism will stay fired up the entire day. Also, your body should be getting rid of all the toxins that you have stopped taking in which stores the fat that will start to melt away. So where does the Isagenix 9 day cleanse start?
Days 1 and 2 are actually shake days. Now, if you have been on the products for a while you would skip these first 2 shake days and start right off with the cleanse. If you are new to the system you take 2 shake days to get your body chemically balanced before you start so as not to shock your system too much. But even the shake days can give a bit of a shock.
My first two shake days were pretty good as far as hunger goes. The problem I had was stopping the caffeine. Cold turkey for 2 days plus no caffeine for a couple days before that. So my second shake day I woke up with quite a headache. Thank god I work from the comfort of my home as a successful network marketer because that allowed me to just go back to bed. A day later everything was fine. I can’t blame my caffeine withdrawal on the cleanse though.
So the Isagenix 9 day cleanse goes like this: 2 shake days, then 2 cleanse days, followed by 5 shake days, and finally 2 last cleanse days. Throughout the eleven days I was not feeling deprived or starved. It was actually not that hard to maintain with the meals, shakes, or snacks every two hours.
Isagenix 9 day cleanse challenges
My biggest challenge during the Isagenix 9 day cleanse was actually the last 2 days. These were also cleanse days. My wife, two sons, and I went out of town to visit her family on the last weekend of the cleanse. That is tough. A liquid and snack diet with relatives who are very hospitable and want to invite you to eat everything. Even harder might just be the time sitting in a car and driving for 5 or more hours. You tend to want to over snack. I am sure I would have eaten a little better without the road trip.
I do notice a higher energy level though. Usually my wife and I trade off and on for drive time on the way there and back. This time I did all the driving and was comfortable doing so. I never got tired or lethargic and drove the entire 10+ hours. I would have to attribute that to the Isagenix 9 day cleanse because I cannot remember the last time that happened without trading off at least once with my lovely wife. I even made a comment about it to my dad when we got back.
So all in all the Isagenix 9 day cleanse was pretty good. Oh, and by the way, I lost 14 ½ pounds and over 18 inches off of my full body measurements. Not bad for 11 days. I am pretty excited with my results so far and have even entered into the Isabody challenge. Mathe ybe I will go into more details as to what that is in another article. One thing I have not done that they recommend is to start working out. I wanted to try and get true results as to what the actual product was doing before I started working out. So I am going 7 more days into the 30 day program before I get my work out going. I do not want to wait much longer though because I am wanting to compete in the challenge. Wish me luck on that one, it seems like competition can be pretty stiff.
To Sum it all up; I did the 11/9 day cleanse. I have more energy and alertness. It is not too difficult to control the food intake. While the product flavors are not very exciting, who would not be happy to knock off 14 ½ pounds and over 18 inches in just 11 days. So far I am pleased with the Isagenix 9 day cleanse enough to jump straight into the 30 day and the Isabody challenge and to continue my Isagenix journey.

Does it contain caffeine? does it make you jittery? does it make you use the bathroom frequently? in all honesty… is this bad for you?
Nope. no caffeine. No jittery. Frequent Bathroom visits? Only if you follow the directions and drink a gallon of water a day. And no it is not bad for you.
I just purchased.. do u have any pointers on what i should do? I ordered the Vanilla…..how much weight have u lost since?
Great post Ed.
Ha! Yes, I always coach my cleansers to pick your cleanse days to be two back to back days where you know you can take it easy.
That’s why most people start with a 30 as its more flexible. The IsaDelight Chocoates are key to making cleanse days easier as well as a lot of the new things that go with the system since you did it.
I’m glad you’re feel good and maintaining it though man!
To Staying Clean n’ Lean,

Great article btw… I’m considering isagenix and wanted to know
what you weighed before vs after (how significant 14 pounds was).
I have to say this. It works if you can stick to it but I could not stick to it. Living on JUST shakes and then cleanse days leaves you hungry all the time after a while. I lost about 38 lbs over about 6 months but couldn’t hang. Came off and almost immediately put about 15 back on. I had to do something and actually tried a competitor and have lost another 30 in 3 months. This one is much easier to live with. Allows you to eat some real meals daily. Doesn’t force cleanse days which are basically a couple of near fast days.
Don’t get me wrong, Isagenix is a good product if you can stick to the plan. I opted for one that seems to work faster and more importantly, it is more sustainable. Maybe that’s why my present venture has over 100,000 new CUSTOMERS every month and make claim to having helped people lose over 7 million pounds.
You’re a marketer who tried the diet (if you actually did) so you could then sell/market it-just like you are trying to do with the “4000 per week” link- another marketing ploy. You can’t be taken seriously as a reviewer because you had an ulterior motive.
Yes B. You are correct and incorrect. I AM a marketer.
The differences in your theory:
1) I am in the top .001% of marketers
2) I have been in and am still focused on the same primary company for 9 years now and any other programs I promote are simply tools that act as income streams to also promote my main 9 year old business
3) I am not or was not open to promoting a health product then or now
4) but I did discover I needed to lose some weight
5) I do not actively promote either Isagenix or ViSalus or P90x or C25k – the products I have tried or use
6) HOWEVER if I am going to use the product I might as well get it free (tell 3 and it’s free) which is why I have a link
7) With any health or fitness product My Ulterior Motive has always been to find what works for my exterior
8) And if it works – to share it… By the way C25k is an awesome phone app for like $3 – and in all honesty P90x, sadly enough, is still in its box…
How’s that for dead on honesty. I do appreciate your comment though and it is a great observation which in most cases would be correct.
Oh, On Isagenix more positive side… I really do like the concept of clean living and getting all the toxins and crap out of your body. If you are looking for a great sponsor in Isagenix I found Drew Berman to be very caring and an extreme go getter who would have really loved to help me be a business builder had I wanted to promote a health product. Like I said though… I just couldn’t stick to it and any lifestyle change must be a permanent change or the results are not permanent.
I got my 9-day in the mail TODAY and I’ll be starting tomorrow – was nice to read that it’s technically an 11 day…. I’m excited to see how much I lose over the next 11 days!!!!

Getting ready to start the 9 day cleanse tomorrow. My question is, will I feel jittery? I work in a Hospital and drawl blood…
I never felt jittery Michele. I suppose that depends on each individual though.
